Soccer or Football has grown tremendously in the Philippines this past few years. It became so famous after the Philippine Azkals made its mark in the World Cup.
The (BUFA) Bukidnon Football Association headed by its President, Mr. Ramon B. Manlunas find it to be the best time to boost the football in his province.
One of its primary programs is the Grassroots Program, the program for the young intermediate class, were the young rising football players are given more attention and support.
With his vision and with his heart to innovate on this field, he thought of providing the province the first actual computer fully automated soccer database system software for the soccer players. In partnership with the leading freelance graphics and software solutions team, Bukidnon Graphics and Mr. Manlunas was able to design and conceptualize the “GoalOne (+1) Project”.
This software aims to record all individual soccer team’s and its player’s soccer data. It would be able to accurately record a team’s career and the career statistics of its players as well. One feature of this software is, it is able to record all Team WINS, LOSES & DRAWS in all tournaments administered by the Association that it has joined. It would also be able to record all Player’s GOALS, ASSISTS, SAVES (GK), and more…
The goal of Mr. Manlunas together with his ever supportive General Secretary Ms. Marie Joy Gamboa is to give Bukidnon teams and players accurate statistics for them to view and by then improve. This software would also ease up visiting football agents in scouting quality players in the area. This scientific and technological approach of the BUFA would surely invite and encourage more players to go forth in the land of football.
The GoalOne (+1) Software is not only for Bukidnon but it also aims to provide its services to other Football Associations nationwide.
Imagine, if the software’s database is centralized in the country by the Philippine Football Federation’s Headquarters, then tracking and scouting player’s records and improvement would just be a click on a button.
“This program is not only to benefit the few but for all” – Ramon Manlunas
