In the midst of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis around the world, there are people who have been risking their li
ves every day to protect yours: the frontliners. To honor their sacrifices and hard work, an artist with special needs designed a couple of special balloons for these modern day heroes.
Through his Facebook page Ausome Balloon Creator, he uploaded photos of his creations, reminding everyone that not all superheroes are in the Marvel Universe. Some, he said, are in the communities, making sure that everyone is safe amid the pandemic.
“We want everyone to remember that not all superheroes wear capes (or are in the Marvel Universe). Some of them are right in our community, working hard to help keep us safe!” Eddie Lin, the talented artist behind the superhero concept, wrote in the caption of the photos he uploaded; touching the h
earts of social media users who got reminded of all the efforts of the COVID-19 frontliners.

Eddie, a young adult who is on the autism spectrum, got the word “ausome” from his condition.
“When Eddie was 10, balloon art struck a chord deep in his h
eart and has since grown into an expressive passion and gift to his community,” the about page of Ausome Balloon Creator stated.
The young artist began his balloon journey by learning from various balloon artists on YouTube. He has since taken many balloon lessons from reputable balloon professionals in Taiwan and in the United states to continue to hone his skills.
