‘Quarantine lessons’: Manny, Jinkee teach their children how to handwash their clothes

Amid the enhanced community quarantine being implemented in Luzon, Senator Manny Pacquiao and his wife, Jinkee, took the opportunity to teach their kids how to handwash their clothes.

On Instagram, Jinkee uploaded a couple of photos taken while she and her husband were doing the laundry with their daughters, Mary and Queenie. In the caption, the senator’s wife shared how happy she was seeing their girls’ eagerness to learn.

“Habang naka-quarantine, tinuruan namin ang girls kung paano maglaba! Happy ako sa mga anak ko dahil masunurin sila at gusto rin nilang matutunan ang paglalaba,” she wrote.

A lot of social media users admired the couple’s humility and good parenting ways. As of posting, the photos already received more than 113,000 favorites.

COVID-19 hotlines

Amid the threat of the dreaded disease, the DOH launched the DOH COVID-19 emergency hotlines 02-894-COVID (02-894-26843) and 1555 in partnership with the National Emergency Hotline of the Department of Interior and Local Government, and PLDT and its wireless subsidiary Smart Communications Inc.

Through the hotlines, callers can ask questions if they suspect they are infected with COVID-19, or request assistance if they have symptoms and/or known exposure to confirmed cases or patients under investigation.

The information collected from emergency calls is transmitted to the COVID-19 Emergency Operations Center and other relevant agencies for immediate facilitation and response.
