The only Filipina on the list of 25, Lorraine was joined by other Asian women trailblazers such as Estina Ang of Ghim Li Group from Singapore; Jyoti Deshpande from Reliance Industries of India; Kim So-hee from South Korea’s Nanda; and Kuok Hui Kwong from Hongkong’s Shangri-La Asia.

The 25 women on the list, according to Forbes, were chosen for the money they generate, the influence they wield, and the ideas and trends they are advancing which bring fresh perspectives to Asia Pacific’s growing business world. They also reflect the broader impact that women have in the Asian business world, in a time when the number of women occupying senior positions has decreased globally.
