A Facebook post from Cebu Flash Report made the public alarmed with the report of the alleged kidnapping of a woman in Cebu. According to their post made January 8th, 21-year-old Kristel Jade Wety who also goes by the name Jade Dee was waiting for a jeepney around 5 o’clock am along N. Bacalso Avenue when a black van abducted her.
They even included the plate number, year make and model of the car.

So the police officers immediately went on to find this black fan which according to Trending News Portal carried five men, three of them are said to be foreigners.
Worried relatives of the victim immediately went to Carbon Police Station to report her alleged kidnapping after reportedly receiving a Facebook message from the victim’s profile saying “STOP FINDING THIS WOMAN OR ELSE I’LL KILL HER IF [YOU] KEEP ON CHAT AND CALLING I WILL KILL HER.”
However, Police Chief Inspector Jacinto Mandal, chief of the Carbon Police Station recently declared that the 21-year-old college student made up her abduction story. He added that there were no bruises and wounds found on the student’s body.
According to Sun Star Cebu, the police will file charges against Kristel. They will first consult the legal officers of Cebu City Police Office to know what specific complaints they could file against the woman.
He added that they will not detain the woman but they have turned over to her family from Hilongos, Leyte after she was seen by Nenita Wagas at Sitio Pamutungan, Barangay Jubay, Liloan, Cebu at 8:20 p.m of January 8th.
Her wrists were tied up with cords of a cell phone charger.
Kristel then admitted she lost the 4,000 pesos cash entrusted to her by a college dean. The money was from the proceeds of books sold to students and because of too much pressure by the dean to produce the money, she made up a story that she was kidnapped.
