Richard Gutierrez Thanks Supporters for Not Hating Him in Portrayal of La Luna Sangre’s “Supremo”

Former Kapuso actor Richard Gutierrez had found a new path in his career by becoming a Kapamilya star this year, 2017. He now stars in La Luna Sangre as Sandrino Villalobo or “Supremo”, the king of the vampires and villains, alongside lead stars, Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo.

Playing as Sandrino who has evil plans in controling the entire nation, Richard expressed he is grateful that the televiewers were not hating him for his “bad” role. This is in spite of the fact that he was commended for his effective portrayal of being a villain.

Usually, Richard plays the role of the lead actor or the good guy so this is the first time he played as a villain. But then, Richard claimed that he enjoyed being a bad guy because it challenges him to show the other side of him as a versatile actor. For that, he said he is grateful that people were not hating him for his effective portrayal of an antagonist.

“I’m really enjoying it. I’m really happy that people don’t hate me as much as they should.”

Meanwhile, driven by his determination and commitment to his role in La Luna Sangre, Richard shared that he even re-watched many vampire films to study the role of “Supremo”.  He then applies what he had seen in the movies and collaborates with the creative minds of the directors and his ever-supportive co-actors.
