Laguna Residential Resort (La Resio) a place for summer getaway!

When people think about hot spring resorts in Laguna, the first thing that comes to mind is Pansol in Calamba.  Pansol is known to be as a favorite hub during summer due to the presence of private and public hot spring resorts.  Because of its popularity, most of the resorts in Pansol especially the public pools are very much crowded during summer. Overcrowding is another concern and for me this may lead to less satisfaction for the tourist. In this blog, I would not focus on Pansol resorts but I would like to recommend other resort which is quite far away from the popular Pansol resorts. A place where you can discover new things, a place for family bonding and more.

As part of the church music team activity, we decided to have an overnight swimming in Pansol. We selected a public pool in Pansol because of our tight budget. The choices were Suncity and Southwinds Resort. Since it is peak season and holiday, I was told by the customer assistants in the aforementioned resorts that their resorts were already occupied and already overcrowded. That was the time when I decided to look on the internet for another public pool which is affordable and fortunately I saw Yummy Lakeside Resort and Spa which is located in Brgy.Tadlac, Los Baños, Laguna.

I tried to contact the resort and find out that Yummy Lakeside Resort and Spa is now under a new management and called La Resio Resort. Here are the few things which made this resort unique:

1. A place for relaxation.

I just want girls to realize, everybody’s born a way for a reason, and you are who you are. You should just be yourself at all times. The only way you’re going to get through life, happily, is being yourself.

2. A place where  you can have an IMAX experience.

Oh Yes, you can enjoy watching movies while swimming. It’s free! The widescreen is there ready for viewing. The feeling of excitement while watching is there as if you are one of the characters in the movie. During our stay, two movies were played until 12am. Two thumbs up for the surround sound music.

3. A place where you can play basketball while swimming.

There are two basketball rings in the semi-olympic size pool. You can choose to swim or play or do both simultaneously.

4. A place where you can see the wonders of nature.

Brgy. Tadlac is famous for its Alligator Lake, “the crater lake is one of the maars of the Laguna Volcanic Field. It is listed as one of the inactive volcanos in the Philippines by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS)” – “Inactive volcanoes of the Philippines”. Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology. Retrieved on 2013-12-31 as cited by Wikipedia. The lake is directly situated below the northeastern slope of Mount Makiling and because of its origin, the lake has no outlet and is replenished only by rainfall. In the viewdeck of the resort, you can see the Alligator lake, and be mesmerized by the scenery.

Part of Mount Makiling on the other hand can also be seen in the viewdeck. Feel its majestic beauty.

5. A place when you can have some privacy even if the place is public.

Unlike the public pools in Laguna, La Resio is a semi-private resort, their public pool is not that overcrowded compared to other resorts so you can feel more comfortable and satisfied.

6. A place where you can enjoy and just be yourself.

Enjoy every single moment of life.  C. Joyce stated “You can be the most beautiful person in the world and everybody sees light and rainbows when they look at you, but if you yourself don’t know it, all of that doesn’t even matter. Every second that you spend on doubting your worth, every moment that you use to criticize yourself; is a second of your life wasted, is a moment of your life thrown away. It’s not like you have forever, so don’t waste any of your seconds, don’t throw even one of your moments away.”

7. A semi-olympic size public pool…

La Resio resort has two public pools, one is for adult which is the semi-olympic size and one for children. There are also other pools but these are designated as private pools.

8. A place where you can feel young and free.

Enjoy life!

Feeling young and free? Slide until you want, pause and take a shot. “Dance. Smile. Giggle. Marvel. TRUST. HOPE. LOVE. WISH. BELIEVE. Most of all, enjoy every moment of the journey, and appreciate where you are at this moment instead of always focusing on how far you have to go.”

9. A place where you can be what you want to be.

Don’t try to be somebody you’re not because it doesn’t work. If you try to be this perfect person or perfect persona of what you think that somebody should be when they’re involved in public office, it’s just not going to work. Just be yourself, stay true to your core values, and really just stay abreast of the issues.

The resort is in the process of renovation according to the owner-manager and sooner there will be other amenities which include Zipline going to Alligator Lake! Woah! I am so excited to see that so what are you waiting for? Escape the busy cities because now it’s the time to go to La Resio Resort- a semi private resort open to public.
Affordable, accessible, far from the busy Pansol…
