LAST or simula?
LAST. Totoo nga bang may last? Ibig sabihin kasi huli na, katapusan. While I was on my way to the office, naalala ko last na pala ‘yung stored value ticket ko sa MRT. I dropped by sa KFC to have my breakfast, I was almost late but I remembered it’s also my last day sa work because I resigned. It was also the last day of the Month, August 31. Habang kumakain ako, naalala ko ‘yung sinabi sa’kin ng isang kaibigan, ” last day na ng work mo, last day na rin para sa’tin…”. I just ignored it. Alam ko naman, kapag may katapusan, imposibleng walang umpisa. Kung naubos na ‘yung stored value ticket ko, I could still buy another one; If it was my last day sa work, I knew I could find another one, firm and fair; If it was the last day of the month, there’s another new month coming; If that person said it was your last time to be together, or just end it up, well, positively, may darating na bago. That’s life, nakaloop. Parang mundo, bilog. It’s a circle, a hope that never ends.
Parang gobyerno natin. Lahat nagsasalita ng patapos, ito na daw ang huling mararanasan ng mga pinoy ang maghirap. Naka-Loop mga pangako. Minsan walang katapusang pangako, lahat naman napapako. Nasaan na nga ba ‘yung mga pinangako nila sa mga kababayan nating naghihirap? Nasa byahe ako kahapon. Habang nasa daan, nakikita ko mga batang yagit sa lansangan. Naisip ko, ano kayang future ang naghihintay sa kanila? Kasalanan ba yan ng mga magulang nila or dapat ding sisihin ang gobyerno? Salat lang ba sila sa kaalaman or talagang wala lang nagtuturo sa kanila kung paano mamuhay ng maayos? Ewan ang gulo. May last din kaya ito? or may simula pa sa bagong buhay?

If you believe in God, then you should believe that all physical things have their end as things that are physical are just temporal while things that are invisible are eternal. This physical world will end and with it are the hardships of people living in this cruel world. However as what you said, whenever there is last, there is a beginning but not the same physical world which has ended up but a new and hopefully a better place to live in. I said hopefully a better place because we dont know whether you will be rewarded to go to heaven or to hell. However whether it is heaven or hell, both are eternal.
