Contemplating

Red lips as red as blood

Tantalizing eyes as I could see

A smile that took my breath away

The one I dreamed of all my life

 

On the other side

I see a glimpse of you

Far beyond my imagination

But simply waiting for me

 

Not knowing what could happen

I stared at you intentionally

Memorizing every detail of you

Day dreaming to be with you!

 

As time passes by

I must leave so soon

It’s a choice I have to make

A choice to change my life

 

Love is what I felt

At the moment I saw you

I know it’s difficult

But I have to let you go

 

Dealing with the fact

That you can never be mine

Breaks this heart

Into tiny little pieces

 

Attention is what I need

To make my day complete

And to feel your presence

Even if you’re not here

 

As I wonder today

I’ve realized one thing

That even as a friend

I can call you ‘MINE’

 

Rocking my world

Like a pop star

Bringing me up

Whenever I feel down

 

Obviously, it’s not what I want

But somehow, I feel happy

For having you beside me

And loving you secretly!

 

Not to expect too much

But that’s the way it should be

For loving you in silence

Makes a curve that I call ‘SMILE’…
