Definitely Filipino™ is a blog for all Filipinos online. The primary
mission of our Blog is to promote national pride and connect all
Filipinos, native-born and foreign-born, where they can exchange any
Filipino-related information, to nourish, uphold, defend, promote and
teach others -- including non-Filipinos, our Filipino values,
traditions, history and culture.
We hope that by creating a venue for
Filipinos to meet online, we can further our culture by learning and
teaching others from what you learn from this Blog.

Definitely Filipino on Facebook
The Defnitely Filipino on
Facebook Page
was born from the idea that we should further our culture regardless
of where we are, or where we were born. It is meant to be interactive
so everyone can learn from each other.
Around May 2009, I was browsing Facebook's other Filipino Groups and
Pages and realized that there wasn't really a place in Facebook where
Filipinos can mingle and meet others. These Groups/Pages, though
promoting Filipino culture and pride, did not have interaction between
its members. Their members would simply visit the group in the
beginning, then forget about it afterwards and seldom return. This is
the basis and philosophy behind the Page. It's the place to come,
learn, interact and belong....
The Page was started in July 27, 2009 and has since grown to more than
780,000 members (as of July 24, 2010) -- the largest Filipino cultural group in the internet!

I am proud to say that Definitely Filipino now has an all-volunteer
group with 6 teams of Admins/Moderators, and a team of
Writers/Bloggers. Each Admin/Moderator team has a lead Administrator
and 2-3 Moderators each. Our writing team consists of accomplished
authors who share the same passion for something they love.
